Default assistance from old friends

to those who know me, I am going to be traveling to the Outerbanks in 2 weeks for a family reunion, should have some time to ride if its windy (last year I took my gear it it didnt blow the entire time)
My only problem is that I am in the middle of changing my kites around to better suit my current needs and I dont have any kites at the moment. Still have the rest of the gear though.

So if I cant find the kites Im looking to buy in the next week, does anyone have something I can borrow for my trip?
Im looking for a 9,13 combo (bow kites) or close

thanx for any help
Danny
(pm if you want)

Danny,

I have a (red) 2008 9m Waroo that is in good condition. It has a brand new LE bladder. I could sell it for 275 (cheap).

You might want to expand your possible range of friends to those who aren't that old (like me)

funny stuff...

i was originally planning on a permanent 9,13 combo, but then after riding my 9m roo in some nasty conditions i realized it doesnt have the topend of previous models, maybe 30-35, at which it gets very scary...
and since i barely get to ride i would rather a a quiver for higher winds when i will really want to...
so im looking for a 7,11 to be my official kites, i just wanted the 9,13 to take to the OBX...

so any chance i could just borrow the roo for the week?
thanx
Danny

Sure, with a "u break it, u buy it" clause.
I will throw it in my truck today. We can hook up some time this week.
I can't ride the 9 past 30, (well, I can, but that's just asking for a hurtin' at my size) On the positive, I can ride it in solid 17, no prob.

Danny,

When you be in Hatteras? I will be there from July 11th-17th. If you are there we should hook up and ride. Need 2 cars for downwinders and such. Let me know.

Noel

Noel, that would be cool, but i will be there from 4-11.....
and its a huge family reunion and with two young kids i wont have much free time... luckily we are staying about 100 yards from the beach, so if it starts blowing (with west in it) then i should be able to ride...
