It turn out to be an ok weekend. I was happy to ride Friday and Saturday at the gulf. Can't wait to have another sick session at EB like the one last weekend. Tomorrow I need to clean my kite the rain today made all the sand get stuck in it.

I heard is not good to rinse the kite with water because of the chlorine?? Can anyone confirm... thanks!

I think that is a myth Erick. Everyone has an opinion on it but I think that if you rinse your kite once in a blue moon with fresh water that it won't hurt. It's like saying that your liver will be shot if you drink a beer every now and then. One beer a day is actually good for you. Keeping your kite clean is good for it in my opinion...but its just that, my opinion.

DW Friday on the Gulf was real nice. Its always a good time to do a downwinder with friends and I got to meet Scary Harry from the Panama City area. Cool guy for sure and a real ripper!

Backside got real nice today. Had a good session, good to see some familiar faces there and to meet some people I hadn't met yet like Brad.

Saltwater is better for the kite than fresh water, but sometimes you just gotta clean it.
313 Marine protectand can bring back some life to a worn out kite.
Make sure that you get any sand between LE & canopy out.
Let it dry real good so it doesn't get moldy.
Keep your bar in good shape by rinsing and oiling metal parts.check line lengths, look for wear anywhere in the lines, leaders,CL, leash, safety.
Check your safety- pop it, clean it, rig it , check it again
Now youre ready for that epic day at EB homey- have fun.
