I am going to John's Pass or just might do the whole run again from Honey Moon and hit the waves on the way down.

Chris, did you enjoy it that much? I wanted to ask you, were the waves at John's Pass really clean? How far offshore? I've also heard that is shark land, but then again they are everywhere!

DP On Tuesday? Where do you want to go? Honeymoon? IRB? Let me know.

Scott, The waves at John's Pass were really nice but it was a washing machine at times. It's pretty far off shore but I think it's worth it.

How were the waves at sunset beach? (Just north of Blind Pass).
That's usually a good spot, but hard to hold ground cuz of side shore drift, so it doesn't last long.

I have ridden JP with Randy, Bayflite and others a ton. That's usually one of our down wind starting spots.
The waves there can be decent at times, (north side) but you're right, maytag central sometimes.

actually the waves were a bit better on the south side at JP this time. I guess since the swell was coming from the North West. Sunset looked nice too, but my legs were like noodles by then and I just wanted to finish.

Just saw this, thought you might find it interesting.
Seems like a great idea to me.

chris, i say we leave a car just south of johns pass, and drive to the north side of johns pass and we can just cruise around and ride the waves there, we can just keep an eye out for each other incase one of us losses their board....
