It has been a while but here are a few photos from a nice kiting photo session off Hog Island, New Providence in the Bahamas.

An excellent time-lapse video shot in and around Jupiter. He has some amazing sequences of rampaging nesting turtles charging around the beach. I think he has at least four turtles on the beach in one segment.

An amazing clip! Wonder what kind of wind it would take to throw a windsurfing rig 50 or 60 ft. horizontally through the air? Kiters need to worry about hitting windsurfers downwind on jumps. Looks like windsurfers need to do the same in conditions like this! It looks like it might be hard to survive in one piece an impact from a rig that heavy flying in with such force.

I saw unmanned flying windsurf rigs like this on Lake Arenal, Costa Rica when we were overpowered on 3.2m and 2.8m sails... probably 45 - 50 knots

The winds were light the only time I visited Arenal. With those small sails and all the stories, I can imagine just how intense and gusty winds can get there. I think the clip above was shot in the Gorge. They get winds like that at times. The following was posted on FB. As strong as the wind is, when the rigs are released they don't slingshot away like the one did in the Gorge imagery.
