Default real time wind

Looks like there has been some wind in Florida, very nice. I'm headed down
to Vero Beach area for a week around Thanksgiving and looking forward
to some wind and waves while Oregon is cold and nasty.

Just thought I pass on this link, I turned on the wind update for Florida:
http://www.windonthewater.com.

Hadn't seen that before, thanks for sending it along. You never know if you'll have wind for certain even this time of year over a short period. Still, if indications to date are continued you may be served up some nice wind and waves. We've had 9 to 11 m flat kite weather for almost the last three weekends in the SE. I missed out Saturday but made up for it with an 8 hour 11 m session in the waves yesterday. Wind is back, yeeha!

sometimes it doesn't seem to update for 2 or 3 hours...

its a little more work but the actual source itself is near real time

Thanks Rick, I'm hoping for at least a couple sessions in Florida.

There were some sensor update issues, and the web site crashed for a while.
I will improve the sensor update frequency, but right now there may be from 5-20 minutes delay. If there are more accurate public sensors I'm missing let me know.
