Pass A Grille Wind Sensor Down
Am new to St. Pete and the FKA forum. Am in the process of moving down from Chicago. Was wondering if anyone knew who maintained the IWindsurf.com sensor at Pass A Grille? Its down and I was wondering when it will come back up?
Sent an e-mail to IWindsurf on this, but have heard nothing back. Was wondering if anyone local had the inside scoop..... Regards, Tim

IWindsurf Investigating Pass A Grille Outage...
Thanks for comments on Tampa Bay wind sensors. Realize nearby sensors offer reasonable picture of wind conditions at Pass A Grille. As I mainly kite off St. Pete Beach and Pass A Grille its nice to have a working sensor on the beach...particularly on marginal days when a few knots of wind make the difference between riding and flopping around.
In any case the e-mail to IWindsurf reporting the outage got the reply below posted on the IWindsurf.com Pass A Grille wind condition page that follows... "8/20/2008: We are investigating the source of the outage and as soon as new info is available we will post it here. Thank you." Regards, Tim
