Wind inbound (forecast from 11.4.09 am);

for the SE mainland:


Thursday...North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northeast 15 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Northeast swell 2 to 4 feet. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop becoming choppy in exposed areas in the afternoon. Slight chance of showers.

Thursday Night...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming 20 to 25 knots. Seas 7 to 9 feet. Northeast swell 2 to 4 feet. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers.

Friday...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 7 to 9 feet. Northeast swell 2 to 4 feet. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers.

Friday Night...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 6 to 8 feet. Northeast swell 2 to 3 feet. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers.

Saturday...East winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Northeast swell 2 to 3 feet. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers.

Saturday Night...East winds 20 to 25 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Northeast swell 2 feet. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas. Slight chance of showers.

Thursday...Northeast winds near 15 knots. Seas beyond the reef 3 to 5 feet. Seas higher in the gulf stream. Seas inside the reef around 2 feet. Nearshore waters a moderate chop. Scattered showers.

Thursday Night...Northeast winds increasing to near 20 knots and gusty. Seas beyond the reef building to 5 to 7 feet. Seas higher in the gulf stream. Seas inside the reef building to 2 to 3 feet. Nearshore waters becoming rough. Scattered showers.

Friday...Northeast winds increasing further to 20 to 25 knots and gusty. Seas beyond the reef building to 6 to 8 feet. Seas higher in the gulf stream. Seas inside the reef 3 to 4 feet. Nearshore waters rough. Isolated showers.

That's a good one but I like this one better:

Tonight
Northeast winds near 10 knots early...increasing to 10 to 15 knots. Seas beyond the reef around 2 feet...except higher in the Gulf Stream. Seas inside the reef around 1 foot. Nearshore waters a light to moderate chop. Isolated showers.
Wednesday
Northeast winds increasing to near 15 knots. Seas beyond the reef building to 3 to 4 feet...except higher in the Gulf Stream. Seas inside the reef around 2 feet. Nearshore waters a moderate chop. Isolated showers.
Wednesday Night
Northeast winds near 15 knots. Seas beyond the reef 3 to 5 feet...except higher in the Gulf Stream. Seas inside the reef around 2 feet. Nearshore waters a moderate chop. Isolated showers.
Thursday

My NWS forecast was from yesterday, just updated it with the current one showing higher winds, 20 to 25 kts! Get out your small kites, should be a good weekend.

Good things come to those who wait. And boy did we wait.

I will say these first two fronts are rippin mofos!. Sustained 20-25 knots for 4 days straight! And.........Starting on a Friday thru the weekend! The gods must luv us working folks this season.

25-30 Knots for Saturday for all of SE Florida!
