Is that the wakeboard that had the ends sawed off, by any chance?
If so, that's a piece of local history. That was one of Billy's first boards.

Actually, that's not billy's board I don't think. Looks like Gordon's liquid force board. He wanted it shorter back in about 2005, so I cut about 3" off of each end and re-glassed it. He said it rode a lot better after that but then Gordon just disappeared and this board ended up in the hands of bayflite.

So basically I think bayflite killed him for it.

Oh. I remember that now. Bill did the same thing with a board.
I thought I remembered his board being orange/yellow though.
That's a good price.

i worked with Gordon back in the day. we were both video editors. i even gave him some input on his hurricane dennis video. i just heard from him a few months ago via email. he moved to the sarasota area, had a baby, stopped kitesurfing and is still editing video...

Very cool. Tell him Scott said hi, and Tom and others too.
The last time I saw Gordon was at sand key, like 3 ago.
We worked on a sunfish project together one summer. Fixed it up, gave it a rad paint job, and then sailed it under kite power.
