Man, that's bad. Bob and I were just talking about how many foot injuries happen out here. Good thing we have so many doctors riding with us.
Looks like Cornell stitched you up pretty well.

That really bites, sorry.

Default Matching feet

Thats nasty as hell! dude I am so sorry Dan. Put aloe on that shit after it closes up and keep it elevated as much as you can. Move it as little as possible. Eat VITAMIN C LIKE CRAZY!!! Clean it clean it clean it... and it will heal quicker.

I attached 2 pics for you to see. Ask me how I did this lovely number to my foot last summer. Hey we have matching feet now. Wanna trade one good foot for one bad one? That way one of us can have two good feet again and the other, well, his life will pretty much suck, he'll will have two bad feet but some pretty wicked messed up stories to tell. I'll throw in a best kite to offset the deal...

Get YO ass back on the water soon brah!

fell while trying to go to blind unhooked, then got drug a bit in 1ft of water and must of went over an oyster or broken bottle.... then i was nice enough to leave a blood trail from the sand bar (where the sharks hang out) all the way to the shore line..

lucky for me i just got my hurricane kite in yesterday..
that was sarcasm

Sorry you were hurt Danny. That looks like a nasty set of cuts. Take good care and use all the patience needed to heal properly before hitting the water again. It can be tough but poorly healed injuries can be worse. I am sure your kite buds will help you through on that point.

Take care and heal fast!

Rick

When I cut the palm of my hand on an oyster in the end of the '05-'06 season, it wasn't half as bad as yours Danny and took mine 6 weeks to heal. Take your time getting back bro, wait until it has completely healed or you will be risking it tearing itself back open on a hard landing or a crash...or even just riding. Heal fast my friend.

I don't think it was an oyster after all... I think it was my old bike!!! Some punk stole it when I was 12. Thanks for finding it Danny!

Glad I remembered stuff from my first aid merit badge in the scouts.

My nurse GF put together a rather large first aid kit after seeing the pics; I hope we never have to use it, but if we do.....

Things I'm learning to take with me for kiting: duct tape, emergency first aid kit, morphine

You win the trooper award for still being mobile enough to pack your car and drive yourself bloody foot and all.
