Parking was a problem at the undertow today.. many that tried to arrive by noon were probably stuck searching for a place to leave their car for 20 or 30 minutes..

When I left and got onto the freeway heading north, there was a line of cars of people trying to get to the beach and ft. desoto over 5 miles long.. bumper to bumper..

Jayson presented Billy w/ some flyers that he had printed up with everyones name .. Billy was truly grateful.

Thankz for posting this. I couldn't make it today because of other obligationz but it is a pleasure to be able to share in the moment, even if only from afar.

I'm sure Billy will be ripping it up in Cabarete, no question about it.

I was unable to make it today so thank you Bryan for sharing this video. Billy was as humble as expected. Glad to have been in a position to help him get closer to his goal.

Cool. Yeah, traffic was a joke.
If getting there was hard... getting "out" was even harder.

All I remember was a great time, something about "Billy, Billy, he's our man"
"Woody!", a weed eater blender, and seeing some Mermaid sleeping on the beach. Fun day.

Thanks for making that video so we could see what happened.

Holy crap what a day yesterday! I'm still f$*(ed up!!! What a blast, a great time had by all!

Thanks Jay for taking the lead and starting this thing, it was the best idea I've been fortunate enough to be a part of in a long time! This community really stepped up to the plate and came together as usual, I just wish we could all be there to cheer Billy on in Cabarete!!!

I had a blast yesterday hanging around with the crew. Just to see Billy's face was all worth it. I want to thank Jay for organizing the event, Toby for the round of drinks, all the people that pitched some $ into the fund and those who helped to transform myself into a sleeping beauty or something like that. LOL!

Thanks to whomever filmed Billy's reaction...I now live in Miami...and couldnt make it to Undertow. Yeahhhhh for Billy...he's such a great guy on top of being a PHENOMENAL rider....I am sure he will have a blast and represent the St. Pete community... like he always has..

Pics are on my computer at home so i'll post them later tonight. Got some cool shots of billy's reaction as well as the "gang" just hangin like we do so well.

That was one of the best days i've had in a long time. Really cool to hang out with the "core" group of st. pete's kiting community. All of us getting together in one spot like that is rare and it needs to happen more often. Thank you Jayson for getting us together and for being such a great unofficial leader in this community. Its the respect for you and for billy that made this whole thing happen.
