Wow, it was old home week at Crandon Park over the weekend. I was down to provide some input on weather and access issues during the PASA ICP that Paul Menta was putting on. Over Saturday and Sunday a bunch of prominent kiters came by. There were around 30 kites on the water at times and a full stack along the beach.

The wind was a bit light at times but doable with lots of guys on 16 and 18 m kites. It was great to catchup with a lot of guys that I hadn't run into for a while. It was fun on the water as well, I even got to checkout skimboarding with a kite thanks to Luco. It is easy and fun. More about that at:

http://www.fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=262

It was a fun weekend down at Crandon, glad to see so many familar faces.

Had a great time on the water off Ft. Pierce yesterday afternoon. The were nice swells offshore and good NE winds moving through. It was fun to ride with Greg K, Jim and the rest of the Ft. Pierce crew. There are some good riders up that way.

Mark from the Boardshop out of Naples was over in the morning. This is one nice spot particularly with stronger N and NE winds. The evening before the wind had faded away until just before sunset. I was able to get a nice session in until an hour past sunset under moon light.

I noticed St. Aug. was getting winds in the mid 20's for a couple of days. It must have been epic up that way.

How about it guys, how has the shredding been?

Hey what do you want, I was in the Abacos for 3 1/2 days this month and was able to fit a 10 minute session in before the wind died. Summer weather, yuch! How is the wind coming through on New Providence these days? I would really like to come over and checkout some of the launches around the island or perhaps ride inter-island, that would be fun.

We have had light offshore winds here for over a week! The last nice sesh that I had is described at: http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=901
