Default First Storm of the 2009 Season

Ok, ok, I know it's wishful thinking......but next week models are showing some swell and wind on the East Coast.

I know I am going to keep an eye on it......this is unquestionably my favorite time of year as a waterman as so much can happen and epic sessions can be had. Florida was the place to be in August 2008

Keep an eye on this link...

The storm last week delivered some nice nuggets. Doesn't get much better than that.

The wind is nice in Marthas today blowing in the hight teens, A couple of days ago there was a Low that came by and I was surfing head high waves off this point break and getting a least min long rides. I got out at 5 30 in the morning and saw the sun rise while paddleing out in a mirror of glass. As i paddled out seals came up and would almost look like those seabirds that swim underwater. By 9 there was 30 surfers all fighting to get on one wave and that was my cue to go kite. Got to love those mornings. Hope every one is getting a good summer back in the 727.
