Default Last year in August

I was lookingin last year's wind log for August in the Panhandle area.....2 days out of the first 26 with any wind over 10-12......kind of pathetic.....then Katrina wind hit on the 26th of August and lasted over a week. Hopefully this August we will get more than that.....it has not been a bad summer season, all in all for 06.
TONS of new 07 gear coming out early this Fall season. Great deals on last years C kites as well.
Hope to see you on the water......

So wind on the Panhandle in August is pretty sketchy huh? Might be down in PCB on the 12th and 13th and was thinking about scheduling a lesson. Sounds like it'd be better to wait til the winds are more constant.

Default wind or no wind

It is a roll of the dice this time of year....we see some tropical activity coming our way soon....so who knows......as far as the law of averages....it is the worst time of year for wind, but you never know.....

Default September wind

I count 22 days last September with rideable wind....most in the 12-15 range and about 8 days over 15....lots of tropical juice came by......Chris is on the way....we will get a taste of waves and wind from this one I think.....
August is the Dog Days for sure here....worst month of the year usually.
But who knows what the dice will roll this year?
We just got in some UNDERGROUND boards.....these New Zealand guys have some sick machines.....down to a science.
