I don't remember the names of the great people I met yesterday at Cypress, but I wanted to pass along a huge THANK YOU for all your help. Kiteboarders (generally speaking) are a great bunch of peeps - doubly so in Tampa. I may just have to make a trip down here for the sole purpose of kiteboarding. Lord knows I wish I could join you guys today and tomorrow.

Yesterday was the first time that I got on on plane for any length of time and it seemed like I was holding ground pretty well against the wind. My only frustration yesterday was the leaky leading edge on the Neme which I thought I had fixed. Next... going upwind!

If you ever find yourself in northwest Ohio, feel free to look me up (PM me here to get ahold of me). I'd be glad to show you around. Cedar Point is worth the trip alone.

Girlfriend hates all the money I spend on kites, and then I talk about buying new kites all the time and she hates it even more.


I still plan on getting her kiting eventually.
