Default Thinking about giving kiteboarding a try. What do you think?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and very happy I found you all. I'm thinking about trying kiteboarding. I have been wakeboarding for a while, but my gear is up north where I go meet my family once a year to hang out at the cabin. Anyway, I thought kiteboarding might be something fun I could do here in FL.

How do i try the sport? It's not like I can just go rent the equipment and jump out there and do it right? From what I've seen everyone recommends taking some classes/instruction from someone who knows what they are doing. Should I try one of those trainer kites first? Or should I just sign up for some lessons? What are lessons costing in the naples area? Is there a shop in Naples and what about the instructor? Thanks in advance.
