Default Jimmy Lewis Demo

Hope everyone rode their brains out these past few days. Old man winter is still alive and well.

Trip Foreman from Real Kiteboarding is coming to town on Tuesday 3/20. The purpose for his visit is to showcase the entire Jimmy Lewis board line. Kiteboards, surfboards, and stand up paddle boards. We have already ordered some of the stand up paddle boards with the approach of summer. This is something I have always wanted to try. It doesn't look like much wind or waves, but if you are interested in looking at the line or trying the stand up paddle, I will post a location soon.

The new Omega's from Cabrinha just hit. I will post a demo day soon for those as well.

Have a great week and enjoy the soreness.

Default Demo Update

Alright....here is the skinny. Trip Foreman from Real Kiteboarding will be at the shop tomorrow 3/20 when we open at 10am. It will basically be a meet and greet as well as a question and answer session from a leader in the kiteboarding industry. When that wraps up, he will be heading to East Beach for the remainder of the day for the demo. Wind forecast looks ok at this point. Likely will be at East beach around noon. If the wind poops out, he will have some stand up paddle boards for anyone that wants to give it a go.

Call the shop if you have any questions.

See ya on the water,
Steve-O

Default Stand Up Paddle Board

If you miss the demo and want to try the Stand-Up paddle stuff just let me know. I actually have one of the Jimmy Lewis 11'7" by 27" setups. Its pretty hard to do, but a ton of fun.

Hopefully all had a good time meeting and talking with Trip Foreman and trying out the Jimmy Lewis line. A very impressive line of boards with a lot of variety, something there for everyone.

Is the wind gonna stop?????? Let's hope not.

Didn't make it out this morning, but the freaky wind this afternoon forced me to ditch more important things and head to EB.

Got a chance to try out that Jimmy Lewis Flight Deck, I think it was called, when I got there and the wind was in a lull. Serious light wind abilities! It could throw down a challenge to the Barn Door, Glide or Crazy Fly.

...Those kind of boards we hope we don't have to ride, but when you're at the beach your kite is set up and your waiting for the wind, it just died or you're just plain hard up, they're about the only option.

A-Bomb was riding his hurricane shutters earlier this season! No exaggeration, tearing upwind too!

Nice demo, it was nice to see Trip again as well...

We have a local up here named howard who rides just that. It's just a piece of plywood shaped and sealed. I have to say, he's always pretty far upwind too. LOL Makes me wonder.....

Next 20+ day I'm going to ride an aluminum garbage can lid. Someone will need to get it on video. It has a slingshot sticker on it ... not sure anyone will notice that it's not really a slingshot board.
