It's WindWing. Definitely weird looking. Reminds me of the the picklefork for some reason. (looks kinda like specialized seed designed for long distance wind dispersal).

Wow that is one ugly kite! Does it come with a cape?

It is ugly. It needs a burqa, not a cape.

If you check the video here:

http://www.windwing.com/dnn/NEWS/KIT...6/Default.aspx

you can see that it has the clear/kevlar reinforced material in the tips and trailing edge. This looks like the same material that Naish used in the unsuccessful X12 in 2003. I had one and it was great when new but soon lost strength and I had to send it out twice to have repaired. Wouldn't hold the stiching very long.

Hopefully Windwing improved the sewing and glueing.

Either way... Props to Windwing for pushing the envelope.

So Scott... when are u ordering one??

Not. I already found "my kites", although I applaud their use of new materials and trying new designs, that takes more guts than just copying another kite.
Seems something good may come of using stiffer materials in certain areas of the kite.

If someone else buys it or gets a demo kite, I would love to ride it.
