Default Tides for Tuesday 10/19

Thinking of heading out in the am.

I see a low tide around 8:30 at 0ft.

Was anyone out there this morning, and was there any water?

Signs of winter....NE winds....no water....wetsuits......

Thanks for your help?

Steve,

Flew into Tampa from Fort Lauderdale at 8am today. Had to get a rental car to Sarasota.

Anyways...driving there around 9am I saw a guy on the East side of the Sky Way Bridge. Yellow and Green kite. Good strong wind. Looked like he was having fun.

Actually going to try and teach a lesson. Just trying to get a read on the tide.

Reports have confirmed its low in the early am. Will probably be on the backside of East Beach. There is some nice water back there on a low tide, and usually have the whole place to myself.

SSW sounds nice though. But don't like teaching lessons there at all.

Thanks for the info guys.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Actually the backside of East Beach is a really nice place to ride on a low tide. It sucks to rig through the trees and launch out in the muck, but once you get out there past the dry zone, the water is really flat and lots of it. It is anywhere from waist deep to can't touch in spots, but always super flat.

I would say the meter on C-cut is a good 5+ off on the wind readings in relation to EB.

C-Cut was around 20 and it was more like 15 at EB. It did pick up however around 9 and was really nice.

I think this has been noted before, but I thought it would be worth bringing up. I am sure there is more to say on the topic, and I could use a refresher.
