Default thanks Bayflite - get well soon Dan B.

for the loaner board for a while on Sunday.. that mako is AWESOME.. holy chop eater batman.

highly recommend folks taking a serious look at that board for your wave/chop board. the high winds of Sunday at EB made for a lot of funky chop by the sandbar where I was riding. the Mako board just glided over it .. very minimal spray.. i assume this thing is a gem in the gulf.

I swapped it out with my best 125 drive and tho its a great small board it comes nowhere near as smooth of a ride.

in other news.. beware the stopper ball on CL lines..
Dan B got an unwelcome surprise when the 9m waroo he was riding suffered an issue and the LE deflated.
Well the kite dropped out of the sky instantly.. but gave one last "HURRAH" as it nearly touched down and popped open with power.. Dan had his hand slightly on the bar and the power ripped the bar forward and one of his fingers got pinched inbetween the bar and stopper.. it was sitting with a nice, unnatural bend to it and he did what i probably couldnt do and pulled it back into place. ouch.
hoping no break.. last report was most likely serious dislocation.

ive had some good painful pinches before, but nothing like that. i ride w/ my hands dead center about 90% of the time.. may need to re-evaluate..
