Default Best GPS for kiteboarding????

Looking for something that will measure speed, altitude, and distance, and the most durable/waterproof one for the best deal, anyone got advice???

Some of the guys in BC Canada have said that the Garmin 201 is pretty good. It is a wrist model that you can plot your course on a web site. Here is a link to a thread on it....

Hello Enrique,

I thought about buying a water resistant GPS for kiting for a while. Last year, Eric a private jet pilot used one of the Garmen 201 units in the race to Bimini. He told me that the guys running his support boat didn't know how to use the onboard GPS unit. So Eric did all the navigation for the two kiters and their support boat with his wrist mounted GPS. Pretty impressive.

thanks for the advice im looking at the forerunner 201 it says it measures elevation but i was wondering if anyone knows exactly how, for instance could i strap it to my wrist and on flat water accurately see how high i jump???
