Default Cypress

I met a representative from the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department today at Cypress Point. They are very please with the increased activity at the park. I told them I really liked all the work they had put into the park and thanked them for the improvements.
I did bring up the topic of kite boarding and the conversation was positive. They did have 2 points for me to pass along.
1) Please don’t run anyone over!
2) On the weekends and busy days please launch at the canoe launch area.

I created an image marking the launch site and a few hazards. I am also attaching an image I acquired form (Bryan) showing the oyster beds.

Booties are a necessity here due to glass and oysters. The local park attendant cleans up all the glass she finds but with every tide more shows up.
