Default I want one!

Just $16,000.00 and a trifling $100,000.00 for a tricked out version? Oh well, it was a nice idea for a short time, pretty astounding performance though. Just make sure you have enough viz. for all that speed and can equalize instantly hands free. I asked how fast could a skillful operator could go UW and was told 13 kts.!? Seems unlikely given drag but if you could that might mean an easy 1 minute breathhold could see you covering over a quarter mile UW and a half mile in just two minutes. The thing about scooter free diving is how little air you burn, the scooter does all the work. I understand they make a quick disconnect tow harness for this thing as well.

If a you can do amazing things with a DPV going under 2 kts., what could you accomplish with this thing? It is only rated for 130 ft. but the distance over bottom you could cover on a breath could be impressive. That is as long as you don't hit something and bury your head into it three feet deep!

For folks that have extra change lying around the house you can find out more about these at: http://www.seabob.com/en/index.html
