Anyone Notice This?

On this video at 4:12 into the film he does some sort of hooked in backroll with a kiteloop, but after he rotates and while he is still in the air he unhooks and does a handle pass 3. I found that to be pretty crazy! Did anyone notice that? I thought I was the only one that could do that...
