I saw wind forecast last night starting at 6am in the 20's. Nothing crazy and actually died out in the afternoon with a pickup again. I figure it wasn't going to be bands yet, but just an easterly flow starting before the bad stuff gets here. Considering AW track record, and with the storm still far away, it might be something worth checking in the am.

Not ditchin AW, and I certainly wasn't implying riding winds over 40. Just didin't want to sleep in with it going off this morning and missing it. No big deal, AW was simlply wrong on this one. Completely understandable.

Can everyone relax.

Who is not relaxed? I think you take stuff a little too personal. No need to defend why you thought there might be wind.
I also think some of you guys put too much faith in a computer model. It's crap in, crap out. Every year we bet on where and when stuff will hit.
No one ever gets it right.
Funny stuff if you ask me. It's impossible for me to take forecasters seriously.

looks like we will get pounded by the rain before we get any decent winds...

man the radar looks ugly......

i guess if it shifts to the east more we wont get as much rain (or wind)
