Nah, I kid you not, my friend. WEST winds are side shore winds, parallel to the shore.

I went out there, nice as hell, rode some, then became extremely gusty.
However, it was a fair day with WEST winds -Danny |

I did but in Tampa honking 25kts side-on with waves.
When I used to ride Matheson back in '98 the most W I ever did was SW and that seemed sideshore, oh-well, hope you guys got some. I prefer the choppier water on the open bay next to the west side of key biscayne and the flats |

Dude, the only types of kites that existed back then where 2-Line kites, foil or otherwise ( only 2 brands, wipika or f-one, naish hadn't started to build kites ). no wonder I just went from one end of biscayne bay to the other
