Peru for some waves!
Just finished up with school last week and booked a trip to Peru for the summer. I'm leaving on June 8th and come back on July 26th. I plan on kiting in northern Peru for June and touring the country in July. I have done a good amount of research on the spots and it looks sick! Hopefully organizing some trips there for next summer. Let me know if you have been. Would love some insider information. Check out whereintheworldischase.blogspot.com for updates while I'm there.

Peru
Contact Paul Menta of TheKiteHouse.com . He has been to Peru a number of times. He is also now running an operation out of Ecuador in conjunction with humboldtkites.com. They could probably also give you some info.

Chase, that place looks off the charts. I am looking forward to hearing about your trip as I think my ass will be heading there next summer for sure. Looks like a wave and wind paradise. Hopefully there are some rights.
I'm off to the gorge this summer with the family. Would love some "must see spots" to hit. |

Well, ceviche at least. Pisco is terrible.

So jealous! Have fun. Read your blog. Pretty cool stuff. Great vids at Youtube. Glad to see your not living up to the old cliche'.

Pisco is good if you know how to drink it, for example a "Pisco Sour" ;-)
