That was the most helpful video for learning how to tack a race board that I have seen, Thanks...

Kent are those new wider AA boards easier to tack than last years designs?

They are still pretty hard. I'm finally getting it, but not 100%. I'm in Puerto Vallarta for the first kite race of the world cup now. i'd guess that the top 10 guys are hitting fast tacks at 100%. There are actually 2 types of tacks being used. The style I'm using and the style that Sean Farley is using. I'm not sure if there is any video of his tack, but most think that it is easier, but a bit slower. We will see starting today!

The wind will be good today. Yesterday we lined up with Bruno, Koch, Gebi, Farley, etc., and did pretty will in the 13 meter conditions. Our stuff works very well in this stuff. today we will be on 11's or 9's I'm guessing. Stronger wind is pretty tough on the legs and most of the effort should be placed on NOT FALLING! I can't wait to get the first race off to see how Damo and I are going.

I'd bet a cold beer that Damo will easily be in the top 1-2. He was killing yesterday. I'm going to race with my Go Pro. I'll try to point it out so that I can see the other riders at the starts, etc. should be fun.

Great video Patrick! Some nice riding in there. That slow motion of Kent riding with the sausage leg was pretty funny. :-) Nice tacks Kent! Looks like you have the board pretty dialed in.

Good luck in Mexico!
