Sunset Beach on a N or NW?
sunset beach is right below TI right?
where that Caddy's restaurant is correct? do you ride at the most southern point? i think i remember Danny mentioning that it was a good place to ride on these N / nw fronts.. any tips? -b |

Yeah. There are two Sunset Beaches.
You are both right. The Sunset bch. just north of Blind Pass is some of the BEST waves around on most NW winds. The problem is, the current is brutal in there, and it's hard to milk it because the side shore drift is ripping you downwind. Usually, once you go south and hit Upham, the waves are still good, but the wind goes to crap on NW, especially NNW or N. Sunset (up north) is cool. I am hoping to go up there with Danny this coming week on the cold front. |

SB has the best onshore flat water kiting in the area. Small launch area though.
