August 23, 7-11 PM at the Standard Hotel and Spa on the Venetian Isles, Miami Beach. Sunday (the day after Surf Expo).

Jimmy Lewis is visiting from Maui to introduce his 40th Anniversary line of boards. Can you believe he's been shaping for 40 years?!

We're throwing a ****tail party for him and Everyone's welcome. Come by Boat, Car, or SUP. Paddler Parking can be found at Island View Park on Purdy Ave. Valet available at the hotel.

There will be drink specials and hors douvres. Music and Paddling.

All of the 2010 colors and new models will be on display for demo.

Right you are, can't recall what other words I nixed. There were a few. But that was one of them, the first part, not the tail. Life in the cyberzone.

I met Jimmy at a few Surf Expo's. He's an interesting guy and with an almost mythical talent for shaping. Would be a great event to make to say hi and see what is coming out of his shop in Hawaii in the near future.
