Default Who's your crew?

Well as we enter into another year of kiteboarding, I can't help but notice something about this sport. "The crew" to be exact.

I witness on these forums but especially on the water "crews" if you will. They are not necessarily bonded by brand, but more by level, riding interest, and ability level. These "crews" get on the phones and figure out the days riding. Where they will go, what they will do, and so on.

I see riders searching to be in a crew, especially newer ones. I see some riders blind that crews even exist. Some crews have a strong bond, and if you knock a brand in that crew, your gonna hear about it.

Anyways, my point is this. Life rolls on, crews change, old crews leave, and new crews begin. Some of my best memories in 2008 are with a crew of guys I would ride with regularly.

Here is to 2009!

Who is your crew???

Because of conditions and rider schedules I have at least a 2 man crew for everytime the wind blows, myself and someone else. I always have someone for flast water session or a downwinder.

I'd say that when there is a quick downwider to be had on IRB my crew as sometimes just included you Steve-O or Katie.

Use to ride with Chad alot.

Others that I ride with on the regular includ Erick, Katie, Daniel, Tony, The north country crew when I drive to Tarpon...
