It's ON!- 3rd Annual Childrens Home Beach Day For the Kids

Alright folks, its time to throw down the biggest and best event of the year- The 3rd Annual Childrens Home Beach Day For The Kids!
Bring your boats, jet skis, boards, floats, shade tents, coolers and big smiles to Lake Seminole on Tuesday, July 27th bright and early.
Mike Hall has done another fantastic job of putting event this together for the 3rd year in a row, so we can be sure this event will be bigger and better than the last.

We know a Tuesday event makes it tough to show up, but if you have to call in sick, quit your job, or throw all previous obligations out the window- that's OK, you're a hero in our book and this day is definitely worth it.
The reward you'll get from showing up and helping these kids enjoy our favorite watersports will leave you feeling like a true rock star.

The Day at the Lake is coming up this Tuesday, the 27th, at Lake Seminole.
Since most of the major details are worked out already, we're skipping the pre meeting on Sunday. If you have questions, contact myself or Mike Hall via phone/ email.
Volunteers-
Try to be at the boat ramp at 7:30 AM to help get the boats launched and ready to rock. Setting up should take an hour or two and the kids will begin arriving before 10:00. Let's get there early and be ready for them.
Bring whatever you would like regarding food/ drinks. we have all the standard stuff covered, and whatever is left over will be used on Sat. the 31st for a kids skim clinic on Sunset Beach.
Make sure to hit the volunteer sign in sheet (at the shelter) when you arrive.

The staff of The Childrens Home was, once again, floored by the volunteer turnout, the number of activities going on, and the high level of professionalism and enthusiasm of our volunteers. We are their hands down favorite group to work with, and are eagerly awaiting to see what else we have up our sleeves!

Something worth mentioning, is that we collectively logged over 250 man hours at this event alone! By logging and tracking these service hours of the watersports community, ASF and its partners are building on the "pay it forward" concept to preserving (and increasing ) access for the watersports we all love.
