Default Kiteboarding Business Robbed

Hi all , please take a few minutes to read the following Information:

Some miserable dudes broke into Miamikiteboarding Van this week, at night, stealing part of the school equipment and accessories.

The van was parked right in front of my place, it has no stickers on it to bring the attention on what was inside, but surprisingly among a bunch of sailing gear and tools, only the kitesurfing equipment was stolen. The front cabin was not even visited, I guess they knew already what they came for.

That’s bad luck but as the sport evolves, more people are aware of the value of the gear involved and that will certainly happen more frequently in the future.

Therefore I call every riders, schools distributors, and stores that don’t want to let this type of acts proliferates to help us tracking the gear…Not as much to retrieve part of it than making life harder for those f… to use or resale stolen gear and get along with it so easily.

Please print the complete list of stolen equipment below and display it, distribute it, or keep it w/ you on the beach.

We are not trying to play the detectives here but just to spread the info everywhere to warn potential buyers and show that the kitesurfing community is concerned and react actively against equipment thefts.

Forums, and networks related to kitesurf works great enough to buy and sale any gear to anybody and facilitate the resell, as in the mean time it’s also the best tool to spread an information throughout the community when such incidents occur.

Because that may (or has) happen to each of us, we can prevent from repeated acts like that by getting everybody’s attention on the spots or the networks.

At least we feel like we have tried and did something against it, for those who already know the frustrating feeling of getting robbed and loose money or your favorite gear just like that.

Meanwhile since it chops our legs off to suffer such a loss just before the season starts, we throw in some Rewards for whoever can help us finding some of the gear back or valuable info that lead us to it.
