A basin is closed for the 07/08 season.
It was a good one last year |

Too bad, I thought this might be a year it could make it to August. It sure was a great season. Like the new ski area too, what little I could see of it. Viz. dropped with winds and heavy snow fall while we were there. They closed the area off eventually. Have fun out there!

Hey guys. Can we revive this part of the thread? I would be interested. I would like to know about adding a ring to one or both of the front lines for leash attachment. I have both Best Nemis and Cab Blade 3. From what I gather, although my 08 Best bars have front line OSH handles, they still recommend that you attach the leash to one of the rear line OSH handles. The reason given was that if you attach to one of the front line OSH, your kite will only be half depowered since it only immobilzes only half of the bridal system and the other half remains powered. Attached to the rear line OSH, the kite supposedly flags out completely upon QR of the Chicken loop. Also, can anyone point me in the way of mods to the 121 bar to make it more managable reachwise? The full lenght of that depower is a killer. My Best setups only need half of that travel distance and you can reach things more easily. Thanks everyone |

Recent hard won (painful) experiences suggests this technique SHOULD NOT BE USED WITH IDS RIGGED KITES
