Toby you could bring your boat, your girl, your dogs and what ever else you want to bring and make a day out of it. Rooker is a great place ask josh

Probably too choppy/windy on Saturday for the boat there all day. The John Boat can be pulled right up on shore though... Plus the boat is an I/O and if there is not a channel right up to the island, I'll DEFINITELY have issues...If you can get us out there (Steve and Amber will probably be with me) then I'll probably join you...otherwise, I'll just hit up EB. Let me know...

Well toby the middle part of the island is pretty deep. You could actually bring the boat all the way to shore. The 2 ends of the island are like eb flat and shallow. So you can drive your boat up to shore.

little choppy on the inside but still a fun place to ride. also the deep water makes it a pain for water relaunching and if you loose your board way back it's a little hard to get back to it, becuase you can't stand up and walk to it like at EB and theres also barly any current i think. other then that it's an awesome place |

It ended up being to rough for the boat. So what I did was started at sunset and tacked up wind to crystal beach and then out to rooker.
