Jim,
I think the body drag will seem like no problem after half a season. Believe me I had to get back to my board too many times to count yesterday, but it will not be hard very soon! |

You are not going upwind as much as you are just holding your ground so that the board will be blown back towards you. You can drag upwind but you need to do very long tacks... you wont be able to see your board on these long tacks, so just count to say 50, and then turn around and count to 50 and you should be back (but upwind) of where you started. Then count to 50 again going the other direction, and 50 back... etc... use the when you change directions try to lift yourself out of the water a little bit to look over the waves for your board. I've body dragged for my board in the gulf at night in complete darkness (unable to see the board) and found it using this method. |

thanks I'll give it a try-didnt realize you had to get moving first before going upwind. I guess that makes sense.

I saw an ad for that. Looks like a good idea-does it get in the way?

The Go Jo is okay, this is better. More Bang for the buck, imo.
