It was definitely windy. It turned on really nice around 1:30 at Treasure Island for a few of us. I was overpowered at times on a 9m with the unstrapped surfboard. Definitely gusting to 30. Haven't been teabagged like that in a while.
Pretty awesome. |

Almost hit N. Beach with your guys Roy but ended up at the skyway, gusty as a mutha!
One guy broke his leg, snapped it landing in shallow water and the bone came right through the skin. A reminder of the dangers of getting too crazy in a foot of water. Glad everyone else had a good time on both sides! |

Yikeesss... compound fracture
A few months back someone broke their neck in shallow water out at EB. I also saw TWO ACL injuries within 20 minutes of one another out at the Skyway about 5 months ago at low tide. Shallow water is no joke. Yeah, imo , the skway sucks on North. Sucky gusty crappy. NB rocks on North though. I had to study all day and write a paper. Too sore from the prior two days anyway, but really wanted to go out to NB. Great sign that this first front was so good. Hopefully it's a good omen. |

Wow, broken leg that stinks!
Yeah NB was great, it was a little gusty but not bad at all.
