I got to sample the 20.5 machine and a Glide today in about 8-11 knots! I am 165 lbs. and I was Litt at times! I already have a 17.5, but the 3 extra meters made a huge difference.I was able to do small jumps and a few backrolls. Staying upwind was no problem at all. Now I am wanting to get one for myself, since I know that Toby will be on that thing all the time.

I am pretty excited about having that kite in my quiver...I was DREADING summer but now I can't wait for it because I'll get to fly that kite all the time and NOT be sitting on the beach when it's not blowing all that much... And yeah Steve, you're right, I'll be on that kite all the time but you are more than welcome to ride it anytime I'm not!!!
I would also like to thank Al Lindsey for holding the kite for me for about a month and a half or so. He probably could have found another buyer on a website or even on the forum who could come up with the cash immediately but showed how much of a great guy he is by waiting on me patiently to get the money to pay for the kite. Definitely cool. Thanks again Al. |
