Back from Peru
Peru was sick....i stayed in a small town in the north called Lobitos. If you have seen the movie Catalyst you will recognize this place as the one with all the oil rigs. there is no reason to really go there unless you surf, kite, or plan on filming a zombie movie. I stayed in a place called Surf Camp that was appox. 8 USD a day for a tent and 3 meals. The pics say it all. Surfed in the AM before the wind picked up like clockwork around 1. I was lit on my 8M sb3 and a strapless 6'3 surfboard. Could have used a 6M and some straps! I never ride staps at home but would def. recommend it for the conditions in Lobitos. After 3 weeks of kiting and surfing I traveled through the rest of Peru. There is a lot to see there and I would recommend it to anyone. Here are some pics.....can't wait for our season to start up!

Peru
Chase-
Looks like an incredible trip. I have watched the catalyst video many times. That wave looks ridiculous. See ya on the water - pray for wind! I will be going to Cumbuco Brazil in October for 9 nights. Cant wait! Tony |
