Skyway C-cut Update
Emailed NOAA. See below.
Hi Shane -- We had it back up but there are problems with the new data logger - it keeps locking up and has to be manually reset. That takes a boat ride and a 60 ft. climb on a guano-encrusted tower. We are testing a complete new system and hope to have it replaced within the next week. .........60 FOOT FREE CLIMB UP TO THE TOP OF MT. SHIZZ-MORE...
Its definitely a sticky situation, but their newest employee, Larry, fears no bird, and is eager to climb the corporate ladder.... Ummm Mark.... Do ya think Larry could chisel a few of those crusties off the sensor? Might help with the accuracy... |

Would be a good DIRTY JOBS episode. Is it the tower thats ten feet away from the SW bridge? Its strange, last week i finished up some weather tower art for a Nasa contractor.....and i didnt draw any bird poop on the tower, see:
http://homepage.mac.com/anthropods/PhotoAlbum19.html however i did include an osprey.....but the tower is sparkling clean, i totally forgot about bird poop. Im looking to do more art like this, sorry for pimping it here/hijacking....just thought i might get it out there. Phil |

Awesome art, Philthy.
Maybe you can sell some art work to Tom for his boards? If I get a custom board, I want some of your art on it. (well, not the REALLY weird shit) Really nice. |

(well, not the REALLY weird shit) LOL..... I can relate, heck i didnt buy the new Underground boards becouse of that (bought an 06') It would be sweet to do board art locally but artwork ads unnecessary cost to an already expensive process.($100/barrel of oil) For my UG board i did hand painted decals using enamel paint. The enamel holds up really well and if you need to sell the board, just peel off the decal. i do hand painted decals for cheap, custom order or just trim to fit the ones i have.

no, no, no.
Can't it be printed out on rice paper or sumtin and put under the resin? You figured out how to put the art on the net, what if it were printed hi rez? |
