You fella's should have headed NORTH rather then SOUTH :P
South Palm Beach / Boynton area had 15-22 knt winds all weekend N-NE w/waist to chest high surf to play in. But I will say, The keys flat water is nice to play in I flew my 15M 07 Waroo the entire time, What a fantastic kite. ~cheers~ |

Really?? I herd that there were lots of kiters at 87th avenue around collins avenue, around miami beach. I went to Matheson, saw many there, but none were kiting. I suppose it was 11 knts. I decided to go like half a mile up wind with my kite and board in hand and decided to do a downwinder. hehehe.
I was looking at some friend's binoculars from Matheson and saw 5 kites at Crandon Beach. Biscayne Bay defenitely gets the shitty winds from the northeast. Better to go to the open ocean. Later, -Danny |

I too went to Islamorada and it was lite 12-15mph and the current was ripping and I rode for about an hour. So I left and headed out to Key West to meet up Paul Menta, on Sunday blowing 15 - 20 NE. My first time riding down in the Keys I need to go back soon. Thanks again Paul for your hospitality and a great riding spot.
