Meanwhile, Wendy's International (WEN, news, msgs) was the fifth-biggest S&P 500 gainer, up 4% to $39.75.
The stock is up 25% since just before it announced it was effectively for sale.

Wendy's is for sale? Say it ain't so, Dave.. geez.
I still remember the very first one in the area (Pasadena) in 1975 or so.
