Is this it...are we screwd?
S Florida is coming up on its windiest 2 months of the season.
We are still in this crappy NW wind pattern with little to no east. We should be rolling in 3-4 day E to NE frontal systems at this point. Is our season over? Are we just now hoping for next season to be different? What are your thoughts. |

Terrible year to date. I thought last year was not so good but this year takes the cake. It's ESE @ 15 now but the forecast looks bleak. Tomorrow is better but they killed most of the forecast this week again. Hopefully it changes for the better soon.

This definitely has been an odd winter season with NW and SE winds. Today it has been
rocking here in S Fla (SSE) but long range forecasts again show NW. What happened to our 3-5 solid NE winter days?? Fortunate at least to get some SSE winds or we would be totally dead this season so far... |

Normal weather patterns seem to be changing year to year. I recall a couple of years back fronts bringing strong westerly winds to the east coast without the normal follow through with strong easterly winds as it clocks around. We seem to be in that again. The west coast folks are doing well by it, that is if they have good wetsuits/drysuits in some of the colder fronts. What's ahead, I really don't know.
