Out of practice
This is what a skunk feels like. You think it's gonna rock, you rig and then... everything goes wrong. :?
Tom, does this remind you of that feeling? http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...02884369898390 |

I don't. I don't know what it feels like to get skunked this summer either.
But, I feel for Tom, he has had it just plain bad. |

It's become routine. I see it blowing, I call around and no sitters are available. I finally go out on a limb and either pay someone or beg someone's mom promising various favors and/or computer repairs until they give in. I rush to the beach, set up, tack out, at which time the wind promptly dies and I walk or swim in, pack up my kite in the wet sand, and drive home.
I've done this about 8-10 times now without ever riding. I have since stopped checking iKite. I am not riding until October. I am not even thinking about riding until I see it blowing close to 20 for 2 hours straight with no rain in sight. |

i got out to sunset on sat and there was a solid 9 knots, enough for me tack back and forth but had to do the walk a few times, wasnt that fun of a ride, i would not even say it was worth the setup and tear down time
i wish i had a 20m waroo hopefully soon
