Starting in Kitesurfing
Hi, my name is Alex, I´m from spain, I used to do surfing almost everyday in my city, I was a surf teacher too, now I moved to miami, and of course I want to do kite because here no waves, so I have a video "Boost" and I want to start but I dont know anything, I flew a kite in land in spain a couple times, and the thing with the board I think I can do it after 8 years surfing. So should I buy a trainer kite to start and which kind, model or something should I get??? I dont what to spend hundreds of dollaers in lesson, so what kind of trainer kite could I get and where can I practice??
Thank everybody. See you in the water. |

This sport seems easier that it actually is, even for instructors from other water activities. Some other guys that tried to save money of quality instruction are described at: http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=720 http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=920 54 (also from Spain), 39a and 66 at http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=225 and many more. Quality lessons cost, then again so can errors that might be avoided through proper instruction.
