I just got back from my sea trial. I can confirm 12 to 15kts ESE on the upper bay. As soon as I can turn this thing over to the new owner I'm on the way to EB! Probably around 1:30 to 2:00

At Sunset beach around 11am the wind turned from the SE to SSW at 11 kts. I launched my 21.5m BT expecting a nice 11-13kt day. After about 15 minutes riding my cruising board it started blowing from 14 to around 17kts from the SW. I was grossly overpowered, out of control in the gusts so I switched to my smaller plywood board and was able to keep an edge most of the time. I had one out of control downwind run which renewed my respect for the power of the old kite. However, this was one of the best days I had when it came to jumping. I made great landings on all but one jump. Then around 2:00pm the wind died to less than 10kts. This was one day when I was at the right place at the right time (not like last Friday when I went to EB expecting a nice easterly of 11kts and after an hour drive there was zero wind and no water-low tide).
