WhooHoo! I'm Famous!
Finally found this online. Pretty decent news report i think. At least they didn't totally focus on negative and actually included a good point... made by yours truly Too bad it aired only once at 11pm. http://www.tampabays10.com/news/loca...?storyid=87734 |

Good piece. I'm thinking now would be a good time to actually get one of the local media people, such as the woman that did the interview, to take lessons and possibly follow it on one of the local channels. The anchor at the news desk would be my choice!! Counter bad publicity with good publicity. And in the meantime could work in all the good stuff about the Children's Home, beach cleanups, and the youth fair. Strike while the iron is hot.

Nice job Kevin, CJ, and others! I was hoping they would get Capt. Al in there demonstrating the release of the kite, I heard he did a great job.
Frank: We did that a few years ago with Roxanne Wilder from Catch 47 up at Honeymoon Island. She got worked, but not seriously and took it all in with good humor. The conversation I had with St. Pete Times reporter on Tuesday was very positive. She will be invited to the next community event for sure. Here's a few good deeds for them to check out: http://www.tbka.org/index.php?option...d=24&Itemid=82 |

Higher and Higher
Thanks Steve... They actually asked me a bunch of questions and I'm just glad they chose most likely my most important response. That people getting into this, people NEED lessons. Wish I would have said from a certified professional but... hindsight
My favorite tho was CJ, when she said you just keep getting "higher" and "higher" Great to meet you CJ! |

i wish one of us would have said that the TS was well east of us and squalls far enough away....hence the reason we were riding at the SW |
