Just talked with Scott and he's convinced it's going to nuke tomorrow morning, ENE.
Gonna race??! |

Yeah, I think it's a no brainer for NE tomorrow.
I think it is going to be especially good from 9am to 11am (20 plus). The inland low is 46 and the high is 74. I have never seen a day with that much difference b/n low and high that it didn't nuke for a few hours at the SW as it warmed. It might hold out until past noon, who knows. It should be good again as things start to cool off later in the day/night. I don't think 1/2 day notice is going to cut it for the race, though. |

Yep a 1/2 day notice would piss a lot of riders off. Scott I agree that I think it will die fast. I predict by 11:00 it will drop off to 12 but then nuke again at 4:30. Lets see how bad I suck at reading models.

So if no race, what happens? Next year's race is free or do entry fees get refunded? Seems like a headache is coming.

I think Chris already insinuated that they'll prolly run the race in the fall.
Hopefully no one that's registered will move outta state between now and then or they're outta luck

Jay and I looked at that too. But Its going to die fast. Some models are showing due north and we all know that the wind drops a lot downtown a due north wind direction if its blowing under 20 mph. I hope we made the right call. We will know for sure by tomorrow afternoon.
