Absolutely! Wind AND scheduled for a weekend, bring it on. It is approaching mid May but the wind keeps coming. Maybe the stronger cold fronts will go a bit later this year, into June?

I just got in from a May Tri-fecta Looks as though May is going to put April to shame for rideable days in a row. I kited Monday 18-20kts on my 11m, Then I kited Tuesday 19-24kts on my 9m Both days on a 127 Float (Boynton Beach) The surf was FUN~FUN last night 3-4ft and chunky Then tonight I kited 15-19kts on my WP13 and 135 Float although it picked up and it would have been a killer session on my 11. But NO complaining here Kited Lake Worth tonight, I hadn't been there since the swell hit last week. The beach is basicly GONE. There maybe 15-20 yards from the dune edge to the water. I launched before peak high-tide, it was a bit of a concern come time to land ~scratchingmyhead~ But I lucked out and the wind went dead east so I was able to use all 12yards of beach Last edited by HIGHFLYN; 05-17-2007 at 10:01 PM. |

I had a great session tonight myself and on an 11 m Waroo Pro which surprised me. I tuned it a bit differently and it really seemed to respond. Usually I seem to need 20 mph to 26 mph to be in the sweet range for the kite. Anyway, it was a real fun session. Glad you are getting some good water time in. This year may be a bit different, we'll see.
