Pheww.... no local controversy
My fav. part is the young kid standing right next to him, and slightly upwind of him (2:35). He pretty quickly reasoned that is the safest place to be. I do think he is sucking his thumb though, a typical fear response to clear and present danger. |

That was great!!! Annie Rocks. He needs to go home and lube up the quick release and the board leash reel before the next session.

I had to watch that again today. Lets see what we can learn from this.
Stop it at 1:04 look at the red leader line on the left side of the bar (kite flying fine) watch at 2:01 he can't decide if he should pull the release or not so he goes back and forth from the bar to the release a couple of times real quick, without either hand on the bar, on his way past the bar he clips the bar and it spins 180 degrees with out him realizing it, he grabs the bar, and he now has the red side (left) in his right hand. Now the fun, he goes to plow the field for a while, then stop it at 2:27 you will see the red line side still in his right hand. Crazy part is he continues to hold the bar backwards trying to get a relauch. Lesson.........It,s very hard to fly a kite with the bar backwards. |

Comedy
People like this should be banned from the sport. Maybe well create a KKA ( Kite Kooks Association) and they won't be ably to fly to kite beaches around the world until they realize what a bad impression they are making on our sport.
Cheers and thanks for the laugh! |
