Where to kite/stay/shops in Miami
Hi everyone,
My girlfriend and me, both experienced kiters from Belgium, are coming to Miami for a two week kitesurf holiday in the beginning of November. If you have advice, hints, tips on where to kitesurf, where to stay, where to eat, ... We're planning to do some travelling around the area of Miami... Thanks and hope to hear something very soon... |

http://www.fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=2756 There are tips for launches, restaurants and limited hotel info there. This information is expanded in the individual Forums covering areas of Florida, e.g. http://www.fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=2545 Miami is a populated place with crowded beaches. The flats south of Miami are largely wide open, shallow, calm and rideable with winds from most directions. I am finishing an article with lots of photos and information about this area and hope to post it soon. More about shoreside launches in the Miami area at: http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=2622 South down in the Florida Keys Islamorada http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=68 Key West http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=518 North up to Ft. Lauderdale http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=2437 Further up to Delray, Jupiter and Ft. Pierce http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=1158 http://fksa.org/viewtopic.php?t=1711 There area a LOT of riding grounds in SE Florida. If you have more questions, fire away. Have a good trip!
